Drugs haul found in Meath village

Heroin with an estimated street value of €25,000 has been recovered in Co Meath.

Heroin with an estimated street value of €25,000 has been recovered in Co Meath.

The drugs were found during a search of a house, along with €1,500 in cash and a single-barrelled shotgun and cartridges.

One man in his twenties has been arrested.

He is being held at Navan Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
