A motorcyclist was killed in a crash today.

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash today.

The two-vehicle accident happened at 12.45pm at Modubeigh, Wolfhill, Ballylinan, Co Laois.

The man, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A garda spokesman said: “No-one else was injured in the incident.

“The body of the deceased has been removed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise and local traffic diversions are in place.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Abbeyleix garda station.
