Two men held after armed raid on Galway filling station

Gardaí in Galway have arrested two men following an armed robbery at a filling station just outside the city last night.

Gardaí in Galway have arrested two men following an armed robbery at a filling station just outside the city last night.

The incident happened on the Tuam Road just before 10pm, when two raiders demanded cash from the till.

One staff member is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the chest during the incident.
