Gardaí investigate Longford stabbing
Gardaí are today appealing for information on a stabbing in Co. Longford.
It happened at a house in Newtownforbes on Saturday evening.
It is understood that a number of people entered a house at Clarrisa Court and demanded money.
A 32-year-old man who was in the house at time was stabbed eight times in the arm and buttocks.
He also suffered a broken arm as he tried to escape.
