Man beaten by masked gang in Lisburn

A 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital this morning after a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Co Antrim last night.

A 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital this morning after a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Co Antrim last night.

The victim was in bed at his home in Lagan Walk, Lisburn, when three masked men broke in and beat him with iron bars at around 11.30pm.

He suffered injuries to his chest, foot and arm during the attack.
