Rangers defender Lorenzo Amoruso will consider his options back in Italy before committing himself to a move to West Ham.
The Hammers are hoping to tie up a deal for the former Ibrox captain after agreeing a fee with Rangers but Amoruso's agent, Andrea D'Amico, insisted that the player has not ruled out a return to his native country.
"We have a few other possibilities and we have to do what is best for Lorenzo," D'Amico told the Daily Record.
"There are other clubs interested in Italy so we must wait to see what they have to offer.
"The Italian transfer market has just opened again and will remain so until the end of January so we must wait and see what develops before closing any deal with West Ham.
