Electronics company sheds 130 jobs as part of expansion plan

Electronics company Little Fuse announced this afternoon that it is to close its facility in Dundalk on a phased basis between now and June 2008, resulting in the loss of more than 130 jobs.

Electronics company Little Fuse announced this afternoon that it is to close its facility in Dundalk on a phased basis between now and June 2008, resulting in the loss of more than 130 jobs.

134 jobs in total are to go as it transfers operations to a manufacturing plant in China.

The company said the losses were part of plans to expand operations.
