The IMPACT trade union has today called on the Labour Relations Commission to intervene in the dispute between Aer Lingus and its cabin crew.
Some 230 flight staff are facing compulsory redundancy after they rejected the airlines cost cutting plan, while the others face being let go and rehired on new contracts with lower salaries and longer hours.
The IMPACT union has described the airline's plans as brutal, targeted and unfair and say they look like a form of retribution for cabin crew who voted against the restructuring measures.
