Gardaí appeal for information in relation to killing of Malawi woman

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to anyone who may have seen a man pulling heavy black luggage in the North Circular Road area last Saturday to contact them.

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to anyone who may have seen a man pulling heavy black luggage in the North Circular Road area last Saturday to contact them.

It follows the discovery of the body of a young African student in a suitcase on Blackhorse Avenue last Sunday morning.

The 26-year-old woman, who was from Malawi, had died from asphyxiation.

She has been identified and efforts are being made to contact her family in Malawi.
