Gardaí investigate after young man's body found in Cork

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Cork this afternoon.

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Cork this afternoon.

It was found shortly before 1pm at the rear of a house on College Road in the city.

The man is believed to be in his early 20s.

The body has been removed from the scene to Cork University Hospital.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and the State Pathologist's Office has been notified.
