Cocaine with an estimated value of 80 thousand euro has been seized by Gardai in West Dublin.

Cocaine with an estimated value of 80 thousand euro has been seized by Gardaí in West Dublin.

The discovery was made during a planned search of a premises in Whitethorn Crescent in Palmerstown on Friday evening.

A small amount of cannabis was also seized during the search.

A 25 year old man was arrested at the scene.

The man has since been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
