A provisional liquidator has been appointed to the Morrison Hotel in Dublin.

A provisional liquidator has been appointed to the Morrison Hotel in Dublin.

Judgment in the sum of nearly €6m was entered against MHL Ltd in Commercial Court proceedings taken by a receiver appointed by Anglo Irish Bank.

The ruling came when hotelier Hugh O'Regan withdrew his defence to the action having told the court yesterday that he had almost suffered a mental breakdown when the receiver was appointed to his business empire last year.
