A rally will be held later today at the school where 15-year-old stab victim Toyosi Shitabbey was a third-year student.

The teen was fatally stabbed in Tyrellstown in west Dublin last Friday night.

Local Labour TD Joan Burton has condemned the murder, saying she is "shocked and saddened" by the brutal killing.

Gardaí have appealed for calm in area after a number of people reportedly smashed the windows of a car yesterday afternoon on their way back from a rally held in the teenager's memory.

A candlelit vigil is also to be held this evening.
