Two charged with Chawke pub shooting

Two men arrested in connection with Monday's armed robbery at the Goat Pub in Dublin's southside are appearing in court this morning.

Two men arrested in connection with Monday's armed robbery at the Goat Pub in Dublin's southside are appearing in court this morning.

The owner of the Dundrum pub, Charlie Chawke, who was shot in the leg during the robbery has undergone surgery and is recovering in hospital.

The two men, who are in their fifties and have addresses in Dublin, have been in custody at Blackrock garda station since Monday and are due to appear at Dun Laoghaire District Court this morning.
