Organisers of the upcoming AllStar tour of America have drafted in a lengthy list of replacements with a host of Kilkenny players dropping out of the original panel.
Five Cats stars including DJ Carey and former Hurler of the Year Henry Shefflin have dropped out along with Clare stars Colin Lynch and Brian Lohan.
Aussie Rules recruit Setanta Ó hAilpín is the most notable absentee but Darragh Ryan and Liam Dunne, Benny Dunne (Tipperary), Paul Flynn, Tony Browne (Waterford), Kevin Broderick (Galway), John Hoyne (Kilkenny), Ciaran Herron (Antrim) and Mark Foley (Limerick) all come in.
The touring party will travel to Phoenix, Arizona in America on January 21st where Brian Cody and Cyril Lyons will manage a showpiece challenge game between the AllStars of 2002 and this year's selection.
