Connacht make four changes

Connacht have made four changes for their televised Celtic League clash against Leinster at Donnybrook on Friday evening (7.35pm).

Three of the changes are up front. Dan McFarland comes in at loose head for Ronnie McCormack, Johnny O'Connor returns from injury at wing-forward in place of Paul Neville, while John O¹Sullivan will make his first competitive start for Connacht at No 8 in place of Eric Peters.

There is also a change at scrum-half with Chris Keane being selected ahead of Eoin Reddan and with Connacht coach Steph Nel rotating his bench, Mike Walls is the replacement No 9.

Full-back Gavin Duffy, injured in the pre-season win over Munster, has not yet recovered from an ankle injury while lock Damian Browne, out since the close season, remains unavailable.

Connacht did not suffer any new injury problems in their 23-22 win over Cardiff at the weekend.

Connacht: Mark McHugh; Ted Robinson, Darren Yapp, Tim Allnutt (capt.), Wayne Munn; Eric Elwood, Chris Keane; Dan McFarland, Marnus Uijs, Peter Bracken; Warwick Waugh, Rowan Frost; Michael Swift, John O'Sullivan, Johnny O¹Connor.

Replacements: Ronan McCormack, Jerry Flannery, Colm Rigney, Paul Neville, Mike Walls, Shane Moore, Dermot O'Sullivan.
