Gardaí name Chinese assault victim

Gardaí have named the 50-year old Chinese national who died from injuries sustained in a street brawl in Dublin city centre as Leong Ly Min, from Tallaght in south west Dublin.

Gardaí have named the 50-year old Chinese national who died from injuries sustained in a street brawl in Dublin city centre as Leong Ly Min, from Tallaght in south west Dublin.

He suffered head injuries in an attack in Temple Bar last weekend and was in intensive care until last night when he died.

A second Chinese national also sustained injuries in the fracas. Two men are in custody on charges of assault connected with the incident.
