Hall threatens legal action

Dennis Wise's agent Eric Hall has warned Leicester he will consider legal action if they cancel the former Chelsea star's contract.

Dennis Wise's agent Eric Hall has warned Leicester he will consider legal action if they cancel the former Chelsea star's contract.

Wise's future at the club is in doubt after an incident on the Foxes' pre-season tour in which team-mate Callum Davidson sustained a fractured cheekbone.

"We will take legal advice if Leicester cancel Dennis' contract," said Hall.

"We will take it to the FA or Football League and the PFA. And, if necessary, we will pursue the matter as far as we can through every civil court that is available to us."

However, Hall does not believe Leicester will take such drastic measures against the 35-year-old, who was sent home from Finland and suspended.

"I don't expect Leicester to cancel Dennis' contract. There's another year of it to run. What's more, Dennis loves it at the club and loves playing for them."
