A new date has been fixed at the Special Criminal Court for the trial of a man accused of plotting the 1998 Omagh bombing in which 29 people were killed.
The trial of Colm Murphy was due to start next week but has been adjourned until October 9th because of the John Gilligan case.
Murphy, a 48-year-old father of four with an address at Ravensdale, Co Louth, is charged with conspiring with another person in Dundalk to cause an explosion in the state or elsewhere between August 13th and 16th 1998.
He is also charged with membership of an illegal organisation.
Prosecuting council Peter Charleton told the court that the charges relate to two explosions, one in Omagh and another in Banbridge, Co Down.
He said there was technical evidence in relation to the tracking of phones and that the trial should last three to four weeks.
Contempt of court papers have also been served on the BBC over accusations made in a Panorama programme in relation to the Omagh bombing before Christmas.
