The Ireland rugby squad resumes training at the RDS this morning in preparation for this weekend's Six Nation's clash in Italy.

Coach Declan Kidney has no major injury concerns following last Saturday's victory over France at Croke Park.

However, Rob Kearney and Paddy Wallace will be monitored by medical staff over coming days.

Kearney has been carrying an ankle problem that threatened his participation against France, while Wallace has received stitches for an eye wound he picked up at Croke Park.

The 22 players involved on Saturday have been joined in the training squad by Girvan Dempsey, Keith Earls, Shane Horgan, Mick O’Driscoll, Alan Quinlan and Bernard Jackman.
