Gardai are treating as suspicious the death of a man in Co Cork last night.

Gardai are treating as suspicious the death of a man in Co Cork last night.

The man died after being rushed to Cork University Hospital following an incident at Garretstown, near Kinsale.

State pathologist Dr John Harbison is to carry out a post mortem on the body of the man, who it is believed may have been assaulted.

Gardai have sealed off a caravan for forensic examination.
