British police investigating the activities of the Real IRA in London have uncovered a bus ticket they believe could lead to the man responsible for last Thursday's bomb in Ealing Broadway.

The ticket is believed to have a fingerprint belonging to the man who planted a taxi bomb outside the BBC television centre in Shepherd's Bush in March.

The ticket is timed and dated within an hour of that blast and was found in a skip full of rubbish from a bus operating between Shepherd's Bush and London city centre.

The BBC bomber is believed to have escaped by bus after planting the device.
