Calls for quality Transport Corridor in the west

The Institution of Engineers has urged the Government to start planning a quality Western Transport Corridor.

The Institution of Engineers has urged the Government to start planning a quality Western Transport Corridor.

The institution wants a corridor from Killarney to Letterkenny, similar to that in the east of the country, with high quality road and rail links between Belfast and Rosslare.

The proposal is being made in submissions to the Government and the Northern Ireland administration.
