Couple found dead in Co Meath

The bodies of a man and a woman, believed to be in their 50s, were discovered this evening in a house in Navan, Co Meath.

The bodies of a man and a woman, believed to be in their 50s, were discovered this evening in a house in Navan, Co Meath.

A neighbour found the couple shortly after 5pm in a house on Boyne Road. Gardai said the circumstances surrounding their deaths are “suspicious”.

The scene has been sealed off pending technical examination, while the State Pathologist will examine the bodies later tonight.
