Bohemians manager Stephen Kenny will hand a European début to 21-year-old centre half Ken Oman in Estonia this evening.
Bohs play Levadia Tallinn in the UEFA Cup qualifying round with experienced campaigner Colin Hawkins ruled out with a knee injury.
Former Longford Town defender Paul McNally had been expected to continue deputising in central defence, having replaced Hawkins just before half-time of last Friday night’s draw with Waterford United.
But Kenny has opted to pair rookie Oman with Thomas Heary in central defence, despite him not having played since June 22 due to a hamstring problem.
The same injury has kept striker Tony Grant out of action but he too returns to face Levadia, partnering leading scorer Glen Crowe in attack at the Kadriorg Stadium.
