Bodies found in Tipperary believed to be elderly couple

Gardaí in Tipperary are investigating the discovery of two bodies in a house on the outskirts of Tipperary town this afternoon.

Gardaí in Tipperary are investigating the discovery of two bodies in a house on the outskirts of Tipperary town this afternoon.

It is believed that a couple in their early 70s were overcome following a gas leak in their home.

Gardaí and the emergency services were called to the house at about 2.30pm and are still at the scene.

The house has been sealed off for a technical examination.
