Thousands expected to watch Liffey Swim

Thousands of spectators will line the quays in Dublin's city centre this afternoon for the annual Liffey Swim.

Thousands of spectators will line the quays in Dublin's city centre this afternoon for the annual Liffey Swim.

More than 350 brave swimmers will swim just over two kilometres, starting off at 1.30pm on Watling Street Bridge.

The event is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
