The Communications minister Pat Rabbitte has said he is not sure why there is a squabble between RTÉ and the BAI over a report into the 'Frontline' Presidential debate.
The investigation was launched over the tweet put to candidate Seán Gallagher, during the programme, from a fake Sinn Féin account.
The Broadcasting Authority wants RTÉ to publish the working document of the report, which it says shows the failings were more significant than outlined in the report published by the broadcaster.
Minister Pat Rabbitte says this row seems meaningless.
He said: "I am not sure if it's a very meaningful squabble, and I am not sure if anyone can explain to me what exactly it is about.
"I mean there was a report done, it was submitted to the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland required RTE to publish it and they published it."
