Financially-troubled Super Aguri appear set to compete in this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.

After a potential investor pulled the plug on a multi-million euro deal last week, the future of the team has been up in the air.

Owner Aguri Suzuki has faced a fraught last few days fighting for the survival of a team he founded in 2006, not just long term, but even for the race at Barcelona.

Since announcing a week ago he was considering the future, Suzuki has so far remained tight-lipped on the matter.

However, the team’s transporters are on their way to the Circuit de Catalunya, suggesting drivers Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato will race this weekend at the least.
