Two men held in connection with death of Tralee woman

Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the death of a 30-year-old woman whose body was found in a stream near Tralee, Co Kerry, last week.

Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the death of a 30-year-old woman whose body was found in a stream near Tralee, Co Kerry, last week.

One of the men, who is aged 25, was arrested in Co Cork this morning, while the second, who is aged 30, was detained in Co Kerry.

They are both being questioned about the suspicious death of Elizabeth McCarthy, a settled Traveller and mother-of-three whose body was found in a stream at Kearney's Bridge last Wednesday.
