Police in the North have uncovered a cannabis factory on Battleford Road in Armagh.

Police in the North have uncovered a cannabis factory on Battleford Road in Armagh.

More than 200 cannabis plants and a quantity of counterfeit currency were seized during the search of a premises yesterday, the PSNI said.

Police also discovered a suspected fuel-laundering plant at the site.

A 28-year-old man who was arrested and interviewed was later released pending a report.
