A Catholic family in south Belfast, whose home was attacked by petrol bombers

for the second time last night, have decided to leave the area permanently.

A ten-year-old girl was left with burns to the hand after the attack and her mother says that she doesn't want to see her children being burned to death like the Quinn brothers in Ballymoney three years ago.

Elsewhere last night, Loyalist youths pushed a car against the wall of a Catholic school in west Belfast and then set it alight.

The two attacks have both been seen as evidence of the rising tensions between the two sides in the lead up to the traditional marching season.
