Police investigate assaults in North
Police in the North are investigating separate assaults which have left two men in hospital.
A man in his 40s is now being treated for serious head and facial injuries following an incident at Donegore Drive, Co Antrim around midnight last night.
In Co Down, a young man was attacked in his home at Conlig near Bangor just after 2am this morning.
He suffered serious injuries when a number of masked men beat him with a baseball bat and a sledge hammer.
