As many as 1,000 Irish tourists are stranded in Cyprus this morning, following an unofficial strike by baggage handlers at Larnaca airport.

As many as 1,000 Irish tourists are stranded in Cyprus this morning, following an unofficial strike by baggage handlers at Larnaca airport.

All flights out were cancelled from around midday yesterday.

Up to five charter flights bound for Ireland are thought to be affected.
