Gardaí have arrested three people in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in the boot of a car in Dublin earlier this week.

Twenty-eight-year-old David Sharkey is believed to have been stabbed to death during a row in Navan on Sunday evening.

His body was found on Sunday night in the boot of a silver BMW that was abandoned at a halting site in Finglas.

Gardaí investigating the case arrested two women and a man last night in separate locations in Co Meath.

An apartment at the Blackcastle shopping centre in Navan has also been sealed off for forensic examination.
