Gardaí hunt Meath bank raiders

Gardaí are searching for two men following an armed raid at a bank in Co Meath.

Gardaí are searching for two men following an armed raid at a bank in Co Meath.

Security staff at the Bank of Ireland in Ashbourne were held up by the men at around 11am. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

The raiders made off with a substantial sum of money but no one was injured during the robbery.
