Senator wins European of the Year award

Independent Senator Maurice Hayes has won this year’s European of the Year award.

Independent Senator Maurice Hayes has won this year’s European of the Year award.

Mr Hayes was nominated for the award in recognition of his work as chairman of the National Forum on Europe.

He is the 16th Irish person to the win the award.
