At least seven people have been killed after a Sudan Airways cargo plane went down in a sparsely populated residential area in the Central African Republic.

At least seven people have been killed after a Sudan Airways cargo plane went down in a sparsely populated residential area in the Central African Republic.

The aircraft was transporting food for Sudanese troops when it crashed just two miles short of the runway at Bangui's international airport.

At least seven are dead and officials are investigating the cause.
