Ryanair accounts for 30% of travel complaints

Ryanair has topped a European list for complaints in the travel sector in 2001.

Ryanair has topped a European list for complaints in the travel sector in 2001.

The airline accounted for 30% of all complaints in the sector.

Among the items reported were the airline’s failure to refund airport charges and taxes if a flight is cancelled, as well as complaints about administrative charges and lost luggage.

The European Consumers Centre will publish the figures next week.
