Gardai in Dublin are seeking the public's help in identifying a young man found unconscious on the side of a road in Rathfarnham over the weekend.

Gardai in Dublin are seeking the public's help in identifying a young man found unconscious on the side of a road in Rathfarnham over the weekend.

The man, who is in his late teens or early 20s, is in intensive care in Tallaght Hospital after gardai found him collapsed on a path in Beaufort estate at around 10am on Sunday.

Gardai said he was six foot tall, around 10 stone in weight, with short, dark hair and a small moustache.

He had a distinctive tattoo of a black eagle on his left arm with the name John written underneath it and was wearing a large, gold link bracelet on his left wrist.
