Murphy wins Rugby Writers' Award

Leicester's Geordan Murphy has been rewarded with the Guinness Rugby Writers of Ireland Player of the Year.

He will receive his award at a banquet in The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin tonight.

Clontarf will receive some measure of compensation for their AIL final loss to Ballymena by picking up the Club of the Year award.
