A campaign for a national eating disorders centre will get off the ground today.
A seminar, being held in Dublin, is set to discuss the need for the Department of Health to establish a centre where professionals and sufferers can identify the best approach to the problem of eating disorders.
There are also calls for urgent funding to help those suffering from anorexia and bulimia who lack the means to pay for private treatment.
