A man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Dublin yesterday evening.

A man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Dublin yesterday evening.

The man - aged is in his early 20s - was injured on North Earl Street at around 6pm.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital in Dublin where his injuries are described as not life-threatening.

A 19-year-old man who was arrested by Gardaí in connection with the incident has been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
