Record-breaking twins Amy and Katie Jones have been born an -incredible born 87 days apart.

Mother Maria Jones-Elliott went into labour four months early, giving birth to Amy – but Katie did not arrive until three months later. Their incredible births will now -become a Guinness World Record for the “longest interval between the birth of twins”. The previous record was 84 days.

After a gruelling two days of labour at Waterford Regional Hospital in Ireland, Amy was born at exactly 24 weeks – almost four months before her due date of September 21 last year.
