A woman in her 20s has been seriously injured in a car crash in Co Meath.

A woman in her 20s has been seriously injured in a car crash in Co Meath.

The woman was injured when the car she was driving collided with a lorry at around 1.30pm on the Longwood to Trim Road near Brannockstown

She was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where her condition is described as serious.

The road is currently closed, while Gardaí carry out a forensic examination, diversions are in place.
