A woman in her 40s has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Dublin yesterday.

A woman in her 40s has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Dublin yesterday.

The remains of the 42-year-old man were found at the bottom of the stairs in a house in Rathfarnham.

It is believed he had a stab wound in his back. A postmortem is underway.

The woman was arrested in Dublin this morning and is being held in Blackrock Garda Station.
