A local authority in the east will be sentenced later for criminal health and safety breaches resulting in the deaths of two firefighters.
Wicklow County Council pleaded guilty to three health and safety violations after Brian Murray and Mark O’Shaughnessy died at a blaze in Bray factory nearly six years ago.
The council admitted there had been a failure to provide adequate backup and training, and said the fire service's safety statement should have been reviewed.
They could be fined up to €3m.
