WHO study finds Irish people eating more fast food
Irish people are eating more fast food resulting in an increase in Body Mass Index, according to results published in the latest bulletin from the World Health Organisation.
A group of scientists studied the effects of eating more fast food on body mass and Ireland had the third highest increase in fast food consumption between 1999 and 2008.
Researchers say that governments could tackle the obesity epidemic by introducing regulations to control the consumption of fast food.
