A man has been injured in a drive-by shooting in Wexford.

A man has been injured in a drive-by shooting in Wexford.

It happened while he was walking in the Ballygarrett area at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.

A number of shots were fired by a passing car which was later found burned out a short distance away.

The victim was taken to Wexford General Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
