Two men have been arrested in Dublin following a gunshot let off on the Northside of Dublin last night.

Two men have been arrested in Dublin following a gunshot let off on the Northside of Dublin last night.

The shot was fired at 11.30pm at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview.

There were four people in the house at the time although no one was injured.

After a garda investigation two men have been arrested, one in his 20s and one in his 30s, in Donabate.

The men are currently being detained under provision of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Swords and Clontarf Garda Station.
